Wilco On The Big Screen

[lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Wilco[/lastfm] is one of the world’s most adventurous and talented bands, playing a delirious blend of country and electronic textures and rock and folk all held together by lead singer [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Jeff Tweedy[/lastfm], who can really sing the guts out of a song and simultaneously temper it with the perfect amount of restraint. In 2002, Wilco starred in I Am Trying to Break Your Heart, one of the best films ever to explore the dynamics of a rock and roll band and more importantly, a profound exercise about what it means to be human.

Wilco will be featured tonight with a live webcast from New York as part of the Live On Letterman concert series. The show begins promply at 8pm Eastern (7pm Central, 5pm Pacific), and you can watch it right here (or on CBS.com). Don’t miss it.
