Video: Gorillaz Launch World Tour, Include Storyboard Music Video

Murdoc and the rest of the [lastfm]Gorillaz[/lastfm] cast have just set sail on their World Tour. For anyone that’s seen this ultra-visual band, you know that the audience is definitely in for a treat. It’s like a highschool AV class on steroids.

Gorillaz touch down for their first official tour date this Sunday night in Montreal. However, you can get an early taste of the live experience just three days earlier–free, and right from the comfort of home–as they are making a special stop at New York’s Ed Sullivan Theatre for a live webcast on October 7.

A new and exclusive “Rhinestone Eyes” storyboard video is being featured as part of this new show, and we’ve got it for you to see.

Vodpod videos no longer available.

What’s all this Live on Letterman business about? Our good ol’ friend Dave has lent us his studio, cameramen, and sound engineers in order to bring you a very special live webcast of the Gorillaz, October 7. You don’t have to go anywhere. We’ll bring the webcast to you, right here! The free Oct. 7 Live on Letterman event gets going at 8pm ET (5pm PT) on CBS.com.
