Last.fm Trends: Snoop Dogg Drops It Like It’s Live On Letterman

Snoop Dogg is next in line for Live on Letterman, with an exclusive set ready to drop on March 29th.

After a year of hot guest appearances, he’ll be dropping new album Doggumentary on the same day; Last.fm Trends takes a look at what’s in store and what he’ll be likely to drop.

Despite no new album, Snoop Dogg was far from quiet in 2010; Between spots for Robyn, Dr. Dre and past Live on Letterman guests Katy Perry and Gorillaz he was far never far from your stereo.

For his 1,355,339 listeners that was a good thing; his tracks have stayed steady over the last twelve months, bumping over the summer when you’re in the mood for “Gin and Juice”.

A few weeks ago we ran down his top five tracks, and it’s likely they’ll make an appearance throughout the set; “Drop It Like It’s Hot” is on top, the only one of his tracks to have gotten more than a million plays on Last.fm.

“Wet,” the lead single from Doggumentary hasn’t set charts on fire, but it’s sown a steady uptick in listeners since its release last year. As the album nudges closer to release that’s going to climb and climb.

Tune in to Live on Letterman to find out what else the Dogg will drop, live online on Tuesday March 29th. This program is brought to you by AT&T – Re-Think Possible.
